  • Commercial flooring
  • Tile installation
  • Luxury vinyl plank flooring
  • Hardwood flooring
  • Related flooring and painting services

All services are subject to property inspection, project requirements, scheduling, material availability, written estimates, and customer approval.

3. Estimates and Proposals

Estimates and proposals are prepared in good faith based on the information available at the time of inspection or consultation.

Pricing or project scope may change when:

  • Additional work is requested by the customer
  • Hidden damage or unforeseen conditions are discovered
  • Structural, moisture, or surface issues are identified
  • Material selections or quantities change
  • The customer changes the approved project scope

Any significant change to the approved work may require a written change order or revised estimate. Work will not proceed on additional services without customer approval.

4. Scheduling and Project Delays

Project start dates and completion dates are estimates unless otherwise confirmed in writing.

Weather conditions, material delays, supplier issues, property access, customer-requested changes, emergencies, and circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect the project schedule.

We will make reasonable efforts to communicate scheduling changes and complete the project within the revised timeline.

5. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for providing accurate project information and reasonable access to the property before and during the scheduled work.

Customer responsibilities may include:

  • Providing safe and timely access to the work area
  • Removing valuables, fragile items, and personal belongings
  • Securing pets and restricting access to active work areas
  • Ensuring utilities are available when required
  • Disclosing known property, moisture, or structural issues
  • Reviewing completed work within a reasonable period
  • Making payments according to the approved agreement

6. Materials and Product Variations

Colors, textures, patterns, finishes, wood grains, tile shades, and flooring materials may vary slightly from samples, displays, website photographs, or digital previews.

Natural materials and products from different manufacturing batches may contain normal variations. These variations are not automatically considered defects.

Customers are responsible for reviewing and approving final colors, materials, finishes, and product selections before installation or application begins.

7. Changes to the Project Scope

Any work not included in the original written estimate is considered additional work.

Changes requested after the project begins may affect pricing, material requirements, labor, and the completion schedule.

Additional work must be approved before it is performed and may be documented through a revised proposal or change order.

8. Payments

Payment requirements will be stated in the written estimate, proposal, invoice, or service agreement.

Depending on the project, payment may include:

  • An initial deposit
  • Material payments
  • Progress payments
  • Final payment upon completion

Payments must be made according to the agreed schedule. Late or unpaid balances may result in collection activity, additional charges, work suspension, or other remedies permitted by applicable law.

9. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Customers should contact us as soon as possible if a scheduled consultation, estimate, or project must be cancelled or rescheduled.

If materials have already been ordered, customized, delivered, or used, the customer may remain responsible for those costs.

Cancellation after work has begun may also result in charges for labor, preparation, transportation, restocking, disposal, or other expenses already incurred.

10. Project Completion and Inspection

Customers should inspect the completed work within a reasonable period and notify us promptly of any concerns.

Minor touch-ups or corrections covered by the written agreement will be scheduled within a reasonable timeframe.

A project may be considered complete when the approved scope of work has been substantially performed, even if minor touch-ups remain.

11. Workmanship Warranty

Any workmanship warranty provided by MNR Flooring & Painting applies only to the specific work identified in the written agreement and is subject to the limitations stated in that agreement.

Warranty coverage does not apply to damage caused by:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Improper cleaning or maintenance
  • Moisture, water intrusion, leaks, or flooding
  • Structural movement, settling, or foundation issues
  • Fire, storms, extreme weather, or natural disasters
  • Abuse, neglect, misuse, or accidents
  • Work, repairs, or modifications performed by others
  • Pre-existing property or substrate conditions
  • Manufacturer defects or discontinued products

12. Manufacturer Warranties

Certain flooring, paint, coating, or related products may include a separate manufacturer warranty.

Manufacturer warranties are provided and administered by the applicable manufacturer. MNR Flooring & Painting does not control the approval, denial, replacement, or payment of manufacturer warranty claims.

13. Property Conditions

MNR Flooring & Painting is not responsible for concealed or pre-existing conditions that could not reasonably be identified before work began.

Such conditions may include:

  • Hidden water damage
  • Mold or moisture problems
  • Damaged or unstable subfloors
  • Structural movement or foundation issues
  • Electrical, plumbing, or mechanical problems
  • Hazardous or regulated materials
  • Previously concealed installation defects

Discovery of these conditions may require additional work, revised pricing, schedule changes, or services from another qualified professional.
